I was lucky enough to be one of the participating Artists in the 30th Star Wars Anniversary held at London’s Excel centre on July 13 -15.
Over fifty thousand Star wars fans descended over the 3 days and for the three day bonanza I created 36 original ink illustrations, two poster designs,
two original paintings on canvas based on a 1940’s war propaganda poster, two limited addition art prints and a 14 ft Yoda spray can mural.
Simon Pegg from Hot Fuzz /Shawn of the Dead fame purchased my customized Darth Vader helmet in which the proceedings went to a children’s charity of his choice.
dan&dan where also the curators of the Arts Wars Darth Vader exhibition, where over fifty customized Vader helmets where on show at the Excel Centre.
Check out Toysrevil.blogspot.com where they interviewed dan&dan after the Star Wars exhibition.
